LSC Career Opportunities

The Legislative Service Commission (LSC) is a nonpartisan agency providing drafting, fiscal, research, training, and other technical and legislative services to the Ohio General Assembly. LSC employs a staff of about 165 persons including attorneys, budget analysts, economists, research associates, and support personnel.  LSC accepts applications for all positions on a continuing basis.

Current openings include:   May 31 is the application deadline for the two 2011 telecommunications internship positions under the Legislative Internship Program.

Legislative Internship Program

The Ohio General Assembly, through LSC, has sponsored a legislative internship program for more than forty years.   LSC sponsors twenty-four paid thirteen-month legislative internships designed to provide college graduates with practical experience in the legislative process.  This experience often leads to permanent employment opportunities in the legislature, state government, or related areas.
