| To be
eligible for a 2011 legislative internship position, you must complete at least a bachelor's
degree program by December 2010. In addition to completing this application
form, you must forward to us, in one complete application package, the
following: (1) a resume; (2)
sealed official transcript(s) from each college and
university attended; (3) three
sealed letters of recommendation from persons familiar
with your academic work, employment experience, extracurricular activities, and/or
community activities; and (4) a two- to four-page typewritten personal
statement.
The deadline is April 1, 2010. Materials postmarked
on or before April 1 will be considered on time. Brief
informational tours may be scheduled beginning
in January. Tours will be held on most Mondays and Fridays

telecommunications internship positions, you must complete at least a bachelor's degree program
with a telecommunications-related major or minor by December 2010. In addition to
completing the application form, you must forward to us,
in one complete application package, the following: (1) a resume; (2)
sealed official transcript(s) from each college and
university attended; (3) three sealed letters of recommendation; (4) a two- to four-page typewritten
personal statement; and (5) a 10 minute DVD with your name and duties related to the
project clearly indicated (we are sorry, but your DVD may not be
returned to you). VHS tape submissions will not be
accepted. The deadline is May 31, 2010.
Materials postmarked on or before May 31 will be considered on time.
The program is limited to majors
or minors in Mass Media Communication, Journalism (Broadcast or Video & Film),
Communications/Communications Arts (Electronic Media, Journalism, Radio/TV, Broadcasting),
Telecommunications, and Radio/Television. A bachelor's degree in another area of study may
be acceptable if the applicant has acquired the requisite video production skills. All
applicants must have some production experience in one or more of the following:
videography, editing, directing, audio, and lighting. On-camera experience also may be
helpful. To schedule a brief informational tour, contact the
